Resto Strips

(NL) Edwin Schweitzer schreef restauratiestrips bekend als Resto Strips. Deze strips werden in het 356 Registry clubblad gepubliceerd. De strips lieten bij elk Porsche 356-restauratieproject zijn know-how, expertise en vooral zijn humor zien. 

Voor hem was het rijden in 356's slechts een klein deel van het plezier. Het belangrijkste aspect van het bezitten van een 356 was het restauratietraject. De manier waarop hij zijn auto's en onderdelen restaureerde kan alleen echt begrepen worden door het lezen van zijn eigen Resto Strips. 

Het Resto Strip boek van Edwin Schweitzer werd verkocht van 2020-2023 en is nu uitverkocht.  

Het restauratie-avontuur gaat verder met nieuwe Resto Strips. Zo vader, zo zoon. Deze strips zijn beschikbaar in het Engels en Nederlands op deze website.  

(EN)Edwin Schweitzer wrote restoration articles known by many 356 enthusiasts as Resto Strips. These comic book type articles were published in the 356 Registry magazine and included his know-how, expertise and most importantly his humor on restoration projects for Porsche 356's.

Being able to drive the cars was only part of the fun for him. The most important aspect of owning a 356 was the journey in the restoration process. The way that he restored his cars and parts can only be accurately described by his own Resto Strips.

The Resto Strips book is a collection of Edwin Schweitzer's restoration articles which was sold from 2020-2023 and is now sold out.

The restoration journey continues with new Resto Strips- like father, like son. These strips are available in the Dutch and English language on this website.
